Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Assemble product for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Perform frequent lifting and moving of products, up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
