We are seeking an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves. Your ability to work quickly and accurately ensures our logistics operations run seamlessly. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe workplace and provide all necessary PPE. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to customer orders or pick lists.
- Use of handheld scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Ensure picked items match order specifications for quantity and type.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain organization and tidiness of the work area and pick zones.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or order pickers.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and follow instructions precisely.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Dedication to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
