Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues (e.g., overstock, stockouts).
- Work closely with warehouse associates to ensure proper product identification and storage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping departments as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Good understanding of warehouse logistics and operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
