General Manager in Training

The Operations Manager assists in overseeing daily operations to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role involves leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals.

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Evaluate and improve facility safety, cleanliness, and maintenance through regular checks and maintenance schedules.
• Analyze and implement efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards to drive sales growth.
• Assist the General Manager in task execution, schedule integrity, and reporting, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Understand financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements and making data-driven decisions to capture opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers to recruit and develop talent within the organization.

• At least 2 years of experience in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• Previous experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million or more.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.
• Able to supervise and train 5-10 employees or more.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Experience working various shift times, including days, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork skills.
