About
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and Safety. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics, and a proven track record in maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to enforcing Safety regulations and proper PPE usage. Contribute to the success of our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement control measures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Enforce all company policies, Safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in Logistics.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure safe operation of all machinery.
- Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly.
- Implement and monitor adherence to all Safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
- Maintain clear communication with other departments and management regarding Logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role or similar leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, Logistics, and supply chain management.
- Experience with WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and proficiency in implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with all necessary PPE.
