We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our state-of-the-art facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this crucial role, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other equipment, organizing inventory, and loading/unloading trucks. A keen understanding of logistics and a strong commitment to safety are essential. Your efficiency in handling materials directly impacts our overall productivity and supply chain integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered equipment to move materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receive and accurately record incoming materials.
- Organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including hard hats and safety vests.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 60 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
