- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
- Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and proper use of PPE.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and feedback to foster professional development.
- Manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and regular audits, to maintain accuracy.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations and meet customer demands.
- Investigate and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations, including PPE usage.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
