Are you a proven leader ready to take on a supervisory role in our bustling Atlanta, Georgia distribution center? We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics hub. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring that productivity and safety targets are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and logistics. You will be instrumental in training new staff, enforcing safety regulations, and optimizing workflow. A key focus will be on maintaining a secure environment, ensuring all team members adhere to safety procedures and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting and the need to be on your feet for most of the shift. Responsibilities include: directing and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accuracy, implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures, scheduling staff and managing workloads, and collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role and a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
