About
Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Tampa, Florida! This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, supporting the efficient flow of goods through our distribution network. You will be engaged in a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We foster a collaborative and energetic workplace where your contributions are valued. Ensuring your well-being is a top priority; therefore, we provide extensive training on all warehouse functions and the critical use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods and the ability to handle frequent lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Systematically store products in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Efficiently pick items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack products carefully to ensure they arrive safely at their destination.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas.
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures for logistics operations.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety standards, including the use of PPE.
