We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to oversee the development and management of our social media platform projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring project delivery aligns with business goals. *Duties*
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of social media platform projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder requirements.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Develop detailed project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Smartsheet, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across product development, content management systems, IT infrastructure, and vendor management to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
* Monitor project progress through earned value management and scope management techniques; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
* Conduct root cause analysis for project issues or delays using Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies; implement corrective actions.
* Manage project documentation including technical writing, process mapping, and reports for stakeholders using SharePoint or Confluence.
* Facilitate meetings for status updates, conflict resolution, and decision-making to promote transparency and team cohesion.
* Oversee program development activities such as program design, portfolio management, and product lifecycle management to optimize resource utilization.
* Ensure compliance with project management standards such as PMBOK or SAFe frameworks; incorporate best practices for risk mitigation and quality management.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles and process management techniques like Waterfall or Kanban for efficient workflow.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in project coordination within technology-driven environments; familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, and Lean Six Sigma.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, Basecamp, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement, presentation delivery, and technical writing.
* Leadership qualities with experience in team management and conflict resolution; ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
* Data analysis skills for requirements analysis and data collection to support decision-making processes.
* Vendor management experience including contract negotiations and IT infrastructure oversight.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, content management systems (CMS), product development tools, and PPM tools such as Primavera P6 or Primavera P6.
* Technical knowledge in IT project management including risk management, scope control, time management, budgeting, and Earned Value Management (EVM). This position is integral to driving successful project outcomes that enhance our social media platform's capabilities while fostering innovation through effective program development and process improvement strategies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
