About
*Overview*
The Project Manager, IT is a key role responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams and driving the successful development and execution of IT-related projects. This position will collaborate with stakeholders across all business segments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in communication, organization, planning, budgeting, and project management methodologies, and this person functions with an appropriate sense of personal accountability, transparency, and urgency.
*Specific Responsibilities*
* Plan, execute, and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery.
* Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Ensure that project definition aligns with leadership strategic objectives.
* Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
* Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
* Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues.
* Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
* Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
* Lead project meetings (kick-offs, status updates, etc.) and coordinate technical sessions (requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, etc.).
* Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams including developers, analysts, and infrastructure teams.
* Ensure that organizational change management activities are planned and monitored.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, IT governance, security policies, and SDLC procedures.
* Continuously improve project management processes and tools.
*General Responsibilities*
* Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.
* Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
* Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.

*Education, Experience, and Licenses:*
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
* PMP or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in IT project management or related role.
* Experience with software development or implementation projects in a manufacturing environment is desired.
* Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*
* Strong knowledge of project management software and methodologies.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to lead teams of people and to hold people accountable.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledgeable in enterprise business systems in the manufacturing industry.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure and data structures.
* Technical background or understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Familiarity with ITIL and service management practices.
