We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and safely selecting customer orders from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our distribution center's success, ensuring timely and correct fulfillment of all orders. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a variety of equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols. Your attention to detail will be paramount in minimizing errors and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, including the provision of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Verify item numbers and quantities before proceeding to the next item.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (certification may be required), or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and equipment is properly stored.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and operational efficiency.
- Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
