About
You thrive when: You find the first answer in the data and your instinct is to stress-test it - looking for what it hides, not just what it shows. You're handed an ambiguous problem with imperfect data and incomplete context, and you move through it rather than waiting for clarity. You care more about being right at the end than being right at the start - you revise your conclusions when the evidence changes, and you do it openly. You figure out how to get something done with whatever tools are available, even when the "ideal" tool or dataset doesn't exist. You're the person who does the work that wasn't explicitly asked for because you saw it needed doing. You tailor the same insight for a VP and a frontline seller without being told to - because you understand they need different things. You see an inefficient process and immediately think about how to automate, streamline, or eliminate it.
Who you are: 7+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, revenue operations, consulting, or a similar role with progressive responsibility for strategic initiatives and stakeholder management. Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying large datasets in relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Vertica, Redshift, BigQuery). Working knowledge of data architecture concepts, including relational database design, data pipelines, and data quality management. Demonstrated pattern of digging past the surface narrative in data - you don't just report the trend, you test what's driving it, what contradicts it, and what it means for the business. Track record of leading analytical programs or research initiatives that informed senior-level decisions and drove measurable business impact. Intellectually honest: you present what the data says even when it contradicts the expected narrative, acknowledge what you don't know, and revise conclusions quickly when confronted with new evidence. You move aggressively through ambiguity rather than cataloging what you don't have. Track record of delivering actionable work with imperfect data, incomplete tooling, and evolving requirements - without waiting to be unblocked. Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to calibrate for the audience - the same analysis becomes a strategic narrative for a VP and a Monday-morning action plan for a sales manager. Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across functions; you become the person teams seek out when they have hard analytical questions. Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) and comfort leading work within structured workflow processes.
Preferred: Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and GTM data sources. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience in programmatic or digital advertising - including familiarity with product features, buying models, and campaign dynamics. Comfort leveraging AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation) as analytical accelerators. You don't need to build the models, but you should be the kind of person who finds creative ways to use available tools rather than defaulting to manual approaches. Python or other programming experience.
