Candid is collapsing pre-construction engineering for large compute and energy infrastructure projects. We build software that understands complex diagrams and technical documents, turns them into structured data, and powers workflows like design review and technical evaluation. We're a small team, and interns work directly on core parts of the product. What You'll Do Data & Ingestion:
Write scripts to scrape, clean, and structure engineering datasets used for training and evaluation. Product Components:
Build UI components and visualizations for inspecting and correcting AI-generated outputs. Evaluation:
Help create testing and "ground truth" frameworks to measure accuracy and reliability of document extraction. Agent Tooling:
Build and test small tools, APIs, and connectors used by agent systems to validate outputs. You'll ship real code that ends up in production. Tech Stack

(You don't need all of these) Personal projects or GitHub repos built from scratch (not just tutorials) Strong fundamentals in Python and/or React/TypeScript Comfortable being scrappy and figuring things out with minimal hand-holding Interest in AI systems, infrastructure, or developer tools
