Type: Contract W-2 only, Duration: 11 month ++ Location: Austin, TX (onsite) Pay rate: $38.16/hr Metadata is at the heart of our client's services, powering key aspects of the customer experience including TV content, UI, Universal Search, and voice assistant features. The VSO Metadata Ops team ensures Services products have the metadata quality and coverage needed to offer a best-in-class customer experience. The Metadata Project Coordinator is an expert in metadata content curation. They will monitor metadata quality and accuracy to ensure qualified metadata surfaces correctly on the TV app platform. This role involves investigating metadata issues, assessing impact to the user experience, and driving resolutions through process improvements and technical or operational solutions. Job Responsibilities Oversee and monitor ingested metadata to ensure highest quality for the TV app platform Curate metadata for movies and TV shows using an internal CMS Investigate and resolve functional issues in partnership with cross-functional teams Conduct root cause analysis on metadata issues and recommend process/system improvements Understand system dependencies to anticipate upstream and downstream impacts Use data visualization dashboards to support data-driven decisions Partner with Project Leads to drive operational needs and process improvements Utilize project management tools to track and deliver against timelines Communicate effectively across teams with strong presentation skills Test tools and provide feedback to improve efficiency and accuracy Identify documentation gaps and support documentation development Qualifications and Skills 3+ years of experience in digital media, technology, or related industry Strong knowledge of movies, TV shows, and social media platforms Understanding of TV app services and features Experience with large-scale media content management systems (CMS) and metadata impact on user experience Experience with ticketing systems and escalation management Project and/or program management experience (certifications a plus) Proven xywuqvp ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data issues Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage time-sensitive escalations in a fast-paced environment Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions Experience with tools such as macOS, tvOS, iOS, iPadOS, Keynote, Numbers, MS Office, project management tools, XML Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., GBI, Tableau) is a plus Additional Requirements May require onsite work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM CT May require work outside normal business hours, including weekends and US holidays
