Title: Computer Support (Infrastructure Engineer) Pay Rate: $27 per hour Location: East Moline, IL, 61244 Duration: Until 04/2027 Type - W2 contract (No C2C)
NOTES: 1st shift (6am - 3:30pm with flex start am) with minimal overtime 25% desk work and 75% shop floor Possible use of client Gator to get around the facility Metatarsals are required on the first day Business casual dress code ** Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position** Some travel between local Quad City facilities as needed may be required. Weekly or less frequency within 10 miles. Will drive a John Deere Gator while in the factory after completing training.
Job Description:
To provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support performing the following duties: Primary Duties for this role:
Deploying new computers to replace old ones. Upgrading to window 11 from 10 Imaging computers Disposing of outdated assets Strong Software skills: Powershell, python, etc. Additional details:
Documents recording and/or distributing information. Has some breadth, depth and/or frequency of interaction with external contacts. Typical examples include updating assets in Asset Center, following KB articles for problem resolution, and following unit specific processes. Responsible for effective e-mail communications and ability to create and maintain basic documents/records Responsible for recognizing problems with the processes/operations supported. Is responsible for resolving those problems with pre- established and documented solutions. Is responsible for reporting to others those problems that fall outside the scope of established procedures. Maintains equipment, supplies, data supporting processes or operations. Job Requirements:
Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions. Knowledge of computer security policies and a general overall knowledge of computer security concepts 1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered Education Requirements:
Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - High School or secondary diploma or equivalent
