Driver & Cooler Associate

Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and efficient Driver / Cooler Associate to join our team! In this role, you will spend part of your time driving to pick up products from various locations and delivering them to our facility. When not on the road, you will be responsible for processing and replenishing inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the walk-in cooler.
Must be available to work:
Monday (6:30am -3pm), Tuesday (10:30am - 7pm), Wednesday (6:30am -3pm), Friday (6:30am -3pm), Saturday (8am- 4:30pm).

Responsibilities 

• Driving & Deliveries : Drive company truck to various locations to pick up product and deliver to our warehouse. Follow established routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload product from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Walk-in Cooler Maintenance: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe environment, including regular cleaning of the walk-in cooler and surrounding areas.
• Inventory Management: Replenish products in the walk-in cooler, monitor inventory levels, and assist in restocking items as needed.
• Order Processing: Pull orders for customers, prepare products for shipment or pickup, and ensure orders are accurate and complete.
• Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions, resolving complaints, and providing information about products.
• Safety: Follow all safety guidelines when driving, loading, unloading, and handling products to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to drive Transit Vans 
• Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 65 lbs), stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attire: Company gear, jeans, and non-slip footwear.
• Workplace: Exposure to varying temperatures (cold in the cooler, warm in the warehouse) and occasional use of machinery that requires caution.
