About
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our operations in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and management of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving, unloading, stocking, and distributing raw materials, components, and finished goods. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, ensuring that all items are stored safely and accessible. This position is critical to the overall effectiveness of our Logistics and production processes. The ideal candidate possesses mechanical aptitude, a strong understanding of inventory control, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Your ability to handle materials effectively and maintain organization will directly impact our operational flow and productivity. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your Safety. This role requires significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of heavy materials. A proactive approach to Safety and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures and Logistics are essential for success. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stock and organize materials in a systematic manner.
- Prepare materials for shipment or production lines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Ensure the smooth flow of materials within the Logistics chain.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
- Physical ability to perform frequent and heavy Lifting, typically up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the ability to utilize PPE.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
