We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your duties will include interpreting order tickets, locating products within the facility, and picking the correct quantities efficiently. Precision and speed are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. Our company places a high priority on safety, and all order pickers are required to strictly follow safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent lifting of items, generally up to 50 lbs. You will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or order pickers, safely and efficiently.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues encountered during picking.
- Stage picked orders in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established picking rates and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms or electronic pick lists.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift.
- Teamwork skills and willingness to cooperate with colleagues.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
