Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products based on customer orders using scanning technology or pick tickets.
- Inspect goods for any defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product integrity during shipping.
- Seal, label, and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Keep the workstation and surrounding warehouse areas tidy and organized.
- Strictly follow all company safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support inventory management activities, such as cycle counts.
- Meet and exceed established productivity goals for picking and packing tasks.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain on your feet for the entire shift and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be able to consistently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles and supply chain flow.
