About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a hands-on position that requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. You'll be an integral part of our logistics process, ensuring our customers receive the correct products efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Communicate any issues or delays to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Experience in logistics or e-commerce fulfillment is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
