Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and other goods throughout the facility.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management by moving and organizing stock.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Accurate picking and staging of orders.
- Must have experience with lifting and moving heavy materials.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and labels.
