Join our growing team as a Receiving Clerk in sunny Orlando, Florida! This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately processed, inspected, and documented. You will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, playing a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming shipments, verifying quantities against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and document any issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label incoming merchandise for proper storage.
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all tasks.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipment status and discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall Logistics flow.
This position requires consistent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. While prior experience in a receiving role or Logistics is a plus, we are willing to train motivated individuals. If you are meticulous, safety-conscious, and eager to be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
