We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists and order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory movements.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Assist with packing and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily order fulfillment targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE guidelines.
