Job Summary:
We are hiring a diligent Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring that goods are moved efficiently and safely from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and stage materials within the warehouse.
  • Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification required), to move goods.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Assist with inventory counts and verify stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
  • Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by moving items as directed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet logistics objectives.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Willingness to operate various types of material handling equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of general logistics principles is advantageous.
