We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse in Sacramento, California! This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, directly impacting our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain productivity standards and meet order fulfillment deadlines.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Keep the packing and shipping areas clean and organized.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Team player mentality and good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
