Job Summary:
Join our team as a Warehouse Technician in San Antonio, Texas, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks focused on equipment maintenance, inventory management, and general warehouse support. You will be instrumental in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly by keeping our machinery in optimal condition and assisting with the flow of goods. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and all employees are expected to follow strict guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in mechanical tasks and possess the physical capability for significant Lifting duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Receive and put away incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report larger problems to supervisors.
  • Support the overall logistics process by ensuring operational readiness of the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including performing significant Lifting.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of warehouse Logistics and workflow.
  • Must wear provided PPE.
