About
We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Sacramento, California. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, playing a key part in our logistics network. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, confirming product details, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your duties will include using scanning equipment, labeling packages correctly, and ensuring that outgoing orders meet our quality standards. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are critical aspects of this job. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and perform frequent lifting for extended periods in a dynamic environment. Your accuracy and speed directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. We value individuals who are committed to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order fulfillment sheets.
- Verify item details, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Operate handheld scanners to track inventory movements and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe packing station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use and maintain required PPE properly.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment within the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information. Must be capable of frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended durations. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices. Commitment to wearing and using all required PPE. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
