Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or electronic pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure Safety and efficiency.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or out-of-stock items to supervisors.
- Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and inventory checks.
- Understand the importance of accurate order fulfillment in overall logistics performance.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity and accuracy standards.
- Participate in inventory counts as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and carrying of items.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety protocols and wearing PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
