Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment, checking product codes and quantities.
- Label packages with shipping information and any necessary documentation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory when needed.
- Participate in inventory counts as directed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, prioritizing safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse/fulfillment role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of equipment.
- Good stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety rules and using required PPE.
