As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and meeting customer demands. You'll work with a team of professionals committed to excellence and efficiency. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is essential, and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. The ability to handle physical tasks, including significant Lifting, is a key requirement for this position. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently based on order requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and workstations.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks and cycle counts.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics flow.
- Capable of Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform frequent Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and commitment to wearing PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of logistics principles is beneficial.
