About
Our busy distribution center in Chicago, Illinois, is looking for a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. This critical role serves as the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper documentation. You will be responsible for unloading delivery vehicles, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately logging all received items into our warehouse management system. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent record-keeping skills, and a commitment to safety protocols. This position requires physical capability, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and the ability to operate pallet jacks and other receiving equipment. Adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
