About
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. You will be responsible for managing and motivating warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics processes. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. You will play a key role in inventory management, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high operational performance. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount for yourself and your team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with PPE usage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in logistics operations.
- Monitor equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
- Resolve operational issues and customer service concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and generate operational reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, motivate staff, and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and commitment to enforcing PPE compliance.
- Ability to develop and implement operational improvements.
- Physical ability to perform tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
