We are hiring a Material Handler for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. This position is critical for the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timely movement. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials from trucks.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Stock inventory accurately in assigned locations.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments or internal use.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring materials are readily available.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic inventory control.
- Commitment to Safety and following all guidelines.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE, including safety footwear and vests.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is beneficial.
