Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Ensure accuracy in all tasks to minimize errors and maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on safety and operational excellence.
- Proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
