We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse duties, contributing to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution network. Responsibilities may include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and order slips.
- Prepare shipments for outbound logistics, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, including work areas and aisles.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliability and punctuality.
