Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening for a dedicated professional to join our busy warehouse operations in Sacramento, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics hub, supporting both inbound and outbound operations. You will operate various types of forklifts, maintain a clean work area, and adhere strictly to all company policies and safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange inventory in appropriate locations.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damages immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and location verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Must be comfortable with Lifting and maneuvering heavy items as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated proficiency and experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping orders and labels.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving regular Lifting and manual dexterity.
- Commitment to Safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of the job.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations is a plus.
