Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse shelves and locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stage picked orders for consolidation, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks in a safe manner.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth functioning of the logistics operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms, product labels, and RF scanner data.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations is a plus.
