You will perform a range of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory using warehouse systems.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or other technologies.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training provided where needed).
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
Safety Requirements:
Your safety is paramount. All Distribution Center Associates are required to wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and steel-toed boots. Understanding and practicing safe lifting techniques is crucial to prevent injuries. Adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within our logistics facility is mandatory for ensuring a secure workplace for everyone.
