Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our vibrant logistics operations in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking merchandise. On the outbound side, you will prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including moderate Lifting. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all shipping and receiving activities. A commitment to safety is paramount, and you will be required to follow all company guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
  • Verify delivered items against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Accurately record received goods into the inventory system.
  • Stock received items in their designated warehouse locations.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper packaging.
  • Generate shipping labels and documentation.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all logistics and safety standards.
  • Comply with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Proficiency in basic computer skills and inventory management software is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
