We are hiring motivated Picker/Packers for our Dallas, Texas distribution center! This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse locations, inspecting them, and packaging them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for using scanning equipment.
