About
We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be essential to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, unloading, stocking, and staging materials. You will operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory safely and effectively. Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse is crucial for operational success, and you will play a key part in achieving this. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This position demands physical stamina, the ability to handle significant Lifting, and a diligent approach to warehouse tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials between different warehouse areas as directed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Organize warehouse shelves and storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all logistical tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE.
- Knowledge of basic logistics and inventory control principles.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong team player.
