We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a leadership role focused on overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflow, and maintaining inventory accuracy within our logistics hub. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Implement and enforce all company policies and safety procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum productivity.
- Train and mentor new employees on warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in logistics.
- Facilitate safe lifting and handling practices across the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a safe work environment.
