Join our team as a Material Handler in Las Vegas, Nevada! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials and products throughout our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification/training provided).
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
- Moving materials from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to production or shipping zones.
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory in designated locations.
- Performing regular inspections of equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Assisting with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Strictly adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Supporting the logistics team in ensuring timely movement of goods.
- Collaborating effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and possesses excellent spatial awareness. Experience with operating various types of forklifts is a significant plus. This role demands the ability to perform consistent lifting and manual labor. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, forklift operator, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
