Are you ready to join a vibrant logistics team? We're seeking dedicated Picker/Packers for our Baltimore, Maryland location. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Primary duties include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Packing a variety of products securely and efficiently for transit.
- Ensuring correct labels are applied to all packages.
- Inspecting items for damage before packing.
- Assisting with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Performing cycle counts and assisting with inventory accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company safety standards and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contributing to team goals and operational efficiency within the logistics framework.
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working at a steady pace. This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform tasks involving lifting for extended periods. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Reliability and punctuality.
