Your duties will involve safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload a variety of materials. Ensuring the integrity of products and the efficiency of our logistics operations is key. You must be vigilant about Safety, performing regular equipment checks and adhering to all established protocols. Proper use of PPE is non-negotiable. This role requires the physical capability for occasional manual tasks and moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Organize and manage inventory placement within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Comply with all company Safety standards and regulations.
- Wear assigned PPE consistently and correctly.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
- Engage in physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current forklift operator certification and a minimum of (X) years of experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with various forklift types.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a logistics or warehousing setting.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining PPE.
