Description
Overview: The Applications Development Intern will have some knowledge and training in application programing terminology, languages, and architecture. In this role you must be organized, analytical and possess the ability to work independently or in groups.
Qualifications and Education:
• Current, ongoing college coursework in computer science or a related (engineering) field(s) is required with a 3.0 GPA or greater
• Experience working with Microsoft products (Office, Windows, etc.).
• Present strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to convey technical knowledge to others clearly and concisely.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.?
• Dependable?and detail oriented
• Able to proactively and independently work in a rapidly changing and growth-oriented environment with regularly changing priorities.
• Able to collaborate with team members across the organization with varying skills sets.
• Able to seek out and/or accept guidance, direction, and priority other developers.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
• Adhere to and apply standards and policies created by development team.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with IT professionals and others to help gather application specifications.
• Work with experienced developers to develop, modify, and support secure multitier web applications and documentation of applications for customers and internal users.
• Assist with comprehensive testing and auditing of systems.
• Coursework in some (or all) of the following languages will be preferred but not required: Git, C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework/ .Net Core, MVC, MS SQL Server, JavaScript/ JQuery, and Vue or other JS frameworks
