We are looking foran experienced networking software engineer. An awesome candidate is highlytechnical who is also comfortable with dealing with enterprise customers.You will join a team of Solution Engineers focused on the MellanoxNetworking, DGX Platforms, Container Orchestrators, Deep Learningcontainers, and other Enterprise related system software.The Solution Engineers spend approximately 50% of their time helpingcustomers with their most complex problems and 50% of their time doingdevelopment related work. This individual should have proven grasp ofdatacenter and networking technologies, to provide comprehensive solutionsfor complex installations, maintenance, or operations for a broad scope ofleading-edge networking products.What You’ll Be Doing Develop features and tools as part of solution engineering efforts tosupport all Enterprise Service offerings including, but not limited toNetworking products. Work with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal users to improvethe availability, reliability, and overall experience of working withNVIDIA Networking products. Take ownership and drive customer issues with Ethernet or InfiniBandNIC/HCA deployments from inception to resolution. Bring independent analysis, communication, and problem-solving tocustomer experience. Collaborate with engineering to document, recreate and solve issues.What We Need To See B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years system software development and troubleshooting experience,ideally with some customer facing. Experience developing with C and C++ in Linux kernel, network driversand/or embedded software. Very good familiarity with Linux OS (tools, utilities, kernelfunctionality). Very good familiarity with networking protocols (ETH, IP based, L2/3/4protocols). Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, flexibility, analyticalability, self-motivation, and team-oriented. Professional-level communication skills, interpersonal skills with apassion to solve problems.Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd Experience in solving problems in large-scale network environmentswith overlay technologies (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN). Experience in server related areas such as Virtualization, Storage, HWoffloads, network acceleration libs, performance, etc. Familiarity with InfiniBand networks and/or RDMA protocol.
