We are hiring enthusiastic Order Pickers for our busy warehouse in Omaha, Nebraska. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or system prompts.
- Use RF scanners and other equipment to identify and track inventory.
- Ensure the quality of picked items, checking for damage or defects.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Follow all procedures related to lifting and material handling to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and RF scanners is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
