We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse efficiently, identifying products, and fulfilling customer orders with speed and precision. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure quality before packing.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, selecting the correct packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet daily productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
